About the show

Festival of Quilts was new to Jacksonville in the fall of 2013 and anticipation was high for a great showing of our local and area quilts. We hung more than 100 quilts that first year. Many were new and many were historical pieces of life gone by. We had entries from beginners and advanced quilters alike, and all were beautiful and held the attention of over 500 people attending the show. Since that time, Festival of Quilts were held in 2014-2016. It was not held last year, but is now returning with the helping hands of the Cherokee County Quilt Guild and the Scrappy Gang, as well as many friends and donors.
